         HISTORY   
  

Established in 1985, the Modern Arabian Business Corporation (MABCO) was the first distributor of Oki fax machines to the Jordanian market.  Later expanding its product base to include Nitsuko telephone switching systems and Lanier photocopiers, MABCO is now a top independent distributor of office and telecommunications equipment in Jordan including Nokia and Brother products. 

A successful and well established corporation, in 1994 MABCO expanded operations to Palestine just one year following the historic signing of the Oslo Accords. MABCO aimed to support the building of  Palestine by importing and promoting state-of-the-art office and telecommunications equipment.  As Palestine was taking its nascent steps towards nation building,  MABCO set up offices in the major cities of Ramallah and Nablus. 

MABCO began as the exclusive distributor of Toshiba photocopiers and as a distributor of Oki fax machines.  Quickly becoming a leader in office equipment,   With a strong record of success, MABCO recently became SIEMENS local representative for telecommunications. 

Today, MABCO is a principal distributor of office and telecommunications equipment and a leader in customer satisfaction in Palestine.  MABCO’s rapid success can be attributed in great part to its innovative customer oriented service strategy which emphasizes commitment to providing services which exceed customer expectations. MABCO’s market share for photocopiers and fax machines is 29 and 37 percent respectively.  Looking towards the future, MABCO is aiming to achieve equally high market shares in recently launched products.
